These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the STAR-MATCHER platform, website, applications, and services.
By creating an account, accessing, or using STAR-MATCHER, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
To use STAR-MATCHER, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent where legally permitted.
- Provide accurate and truthful information.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
STAR-MATCHER reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.
3. User Accounts
Users are responsible for:

- Protecting login credentials.
- Ensuring profile information remains accurate.
Users are solely responsible for activities conducted through their account.
4. Platform Purpose
STAR-MATCHER is a talent discovery platform that connects talents with agencies, brands, casting directors, productions, and other professional opportunities.
STAR-MATCHER does not act as:
- An employment agency.
- A talent agency.
- A recruitment company.
- A booking agency.
STAR-MATCHER facilitates introductions and communication between users.
5. Talent Profiles
Talents may:
- Create profiles.
- Upload photos and videos.
- Upload portfolio content.
- Describe skills, experience, and achievements.
- Receive agency contact requests.
Users must only upload content they own or have permission to use.
6. Agency Accounts
Agency accounts may:
- Search talent profiles.
- Use platform filters.
- Create shortlists.
- Request contact with talents.
Agency registration may require verification and approval before access is granted.
STAR-MATCHER reserves the right to reject agency applications.
7. Membership Plans & Payments
Certain features require a paid membership.
By purchasing a membership, users agree that:
- Payments are billed according to the selected plan.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
- Pricing may change with prior notice.
- Users may cancel future renewals at any time.
Access remains active until the end of the paid billing period.
8. Refund Policy
Unless required by applicable law:
- Membership fees are non-refundable.
- Partial months are not refunded.
- Unused services are not refundable.
Refund requests may be reviewed individually at STAR-MATCHER's discretion.
9. User Conduct
Users may not:
- Harass other users.
- Upload illegal content.
- Upload misleading or fraudulent information.
- Impersonate another person.
- Use the platform for unlawful activities.
- Circumvent platform security measures.
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal.
10. Content Ownership
Users retain ownership of their uploaded content.
By uploading content to STAR-MATCHER, users grant STAR-MATCHER a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:
- Display content on the platform.
- Promote profiles within platform services.
- Operate platform functionality.
This license ends when content is deleted, except where retention is legally required.
11. Intellectual Property
The STAR-MATCHER name, logo, branding, software, design elements, and content are protected by intellectual property laws.
Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify platform content without written permission.
12. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to the STAR-MATCHER Privacy Policy.
By using the platform, users consent to the collection and processing of data as described in that policy.
13. Account Suspension & Termination
STAR-MATCHER may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms.
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Harm other users.
- Damage platform integrity
Termination may occur without prior notice in serious cases.
14. Limitation of Liability
STAR-MATCHER is provided on an "as available" basis.
STAR-MATCHER does not guarantee:
- Employment opportunities.
- Agency responses.
- Bookings or contracts.
- Business outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STAR-MATCHER shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
15. Changes to These Terms
STAR-MATCHER reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions.
Users will be notified of significant changes through the platform or by email.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Denmark.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
